Domus 28th Edition (for 2010) : "Builder of the Year" award
Laval, Monday, February 21 - The Quebec-based firm Voyer & Tremblay won the prestigious “Builder of the Year” award at the 28th Domus gala. The APCHQ Montréal event, which highlights excellence in residential construction throughout greater Montreal, took place last Saturday, February 19, at Centre Mont-Royal. The Voyer & Tremblay team had high hopes, having been named a finalist in six of the 18 categories. First, the team won a Domus in the “Rental or Condominium Unit $200,000 or Less” category for its condo project in the Seigneurie du Chêne neighbourhood of Mascouche.
The wait for Voyer & Tremblay’s second Domus was long, but worth it as the firm took home the most prestigious prize of all, the “Builder of the Year” award, for its overall work. Vice president Jean-Sébastien Tremblay and several team members were visibly moved as they received the statuette. Michel Tremblay, founder of Voyer & Tremblay, took the stage to thank his clients, his employees and his partners. He clearly expressed his pride in his children, who are some of his closest partners.
